Its formula combines different ingredients that act at different levels and stages of the hair growth cycle. The activity of its components meets the necessary requirements to restore the cellular regeneration systems and prevent the hormonal and glandular imbalances typical of hair loss in both men and women. It induces a vasodilatation that ensures an ideal perfusion of the hair bulb cells, optimizing the supply of nutrients. The content of high concentrations of B vitamins ensures a complete nutrition of the dermal papilla as well as a correct metabolic function. Its chelating action prevents the action of metals that abound in the telogen phase and protects the structures attached to the pilosebaceous follicle that reinforce the entire hair structure.

BCN Scalp contains the active ingredients whose loss or deficiency can cause hair loss: dexpanthenol and biotin. It also includes other B vitamins and iron.

Dexpanthenol, a natural component of skin and hair, is the alcoholic analogue of pantothenic acid or vitamin B5 and is therefore the provitamin B5 that is rapidly absorbed through the skin and transformed into vitamin B5. Its effectiveness is based on its great moisturizing power and its good penetration into the skin. It boosts moisture levels in the stratum corneum, reducing transepidermal water loss, and maintains the skin's natural softness and elasticity. It accelerates cell repair, rebuilds damaged tissue and promotes normal keratinization of skin and hair. It also has a marked anti-inflammatory effect which, together with the aforementioned moisturizing power, reduces inflammation, irritation and itching of the skin and scalp. Its mechanism of action is based on its status as a component of coenzyme A, a substance required in numerous biochemical processes and, in general, it intervenes as a cofactor in acetylation reactions.

Biotin is the so-called vitamin H, vitamin B7 or vitamin B8 and is necessary for cell growth, fatty acid production and amino acid metabolism. By accelerating lipid synthesis, it improves the skin's natural barrier function. It is also a natural sebum regulator, alleviating the symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis, eczema and dry skin, helping to combat hair loss and premature hair discoloration.

Thiamine or Vitamin B1 is an antioxidant that increases blood circulation in the skin and scalp. With this action it improves the penetration of blood and fluids, and therefore oxygen, in the different areas of the skin and hair follicles. In this way it prevents hair loss and promotes the growth of new hair, achieving a significant improvement of the hair and obtaining luster and shine.

Pyridoxine or vitamin B6 has been shown to decrease the formation of dihydrotestosterone and regulate its excess in the hair root, thus limiting hair loss and stimulating hair growth. Balances oily skin, limiting the secretion of the sebaceous glands. Combats dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. Reduces itching and inflammation of the skin (atopic eczema).

Iron, as a fundamental component of many proteins and enzymes, has a direct effect on the hair, so that certain types of alopecia are often corrected with an increase in iron. In addition, iron is necessary for the formation of keratin, the main protein component of the outermost layers of the skin and hair, thus influencing the healthy appearance of skin, nails and hair.
