Actives: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, Oligopeptide-24, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-28.
The formulation of this advanced combination of active ingredients strengthens and tightens the skin of the face and body.
The new generation peptides act synergistically with the different classical active ingredients on all elements of the extracellular matrix (ECM), its synthesis and degradation, contractility, cell adhesion, the dermis-epidermis junction and muscle tone.
Hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and the other components of the preparation care for the health of the skin as a whole with their revitalizing actions and other anti-aging properties.
BCN Tensis - Peptides combats sagging and loss of elasticity while providing a firming action.
This combination of active ingredients acts on the extracellular matrix, reinforcing the tissue and tightening the skin of the face and body. Its action focuses on restoring firmness and providing youth and light to the complexion. EReduces and prevents wrinkles by generating new skin cells. Reinforces skin elasticity by inducing the synthesis of collagen, elastin and a new extracellular matrix (ECM). Hydrates dry skin and helps maintain optimal moisture balance.
The main actions of BCN Tensis-Peptides are:
These beneficial actions for the skin are achieved thanks to the following advanced active ingredients:
Whey protein or Milk Peptide Complex (MPC): these are biologically active polypeptides obtained from milk: cytokines or regulatory molecules, stabilized in a physiological medium from other functional components of milk: lactoglobulin, lactoferrin, lactose, lactates, etc. The fibroblast is a type of connective tissue cell. It synthesizes collagen and glycosaminoglycans of the extracellular matrix, so when, with age, its number and activity decreases, the production of molecules that form the ECM also decreases. The milk peptide complex activates fibroblasts through cell signaling. They provide the skin with the main cytokine in this process: the growth and transformation factor, TGF-β in its active form. These cytokines send inhibitory or stimulatory signals to the cells to activate the cellular response that results in the restoration of physiologically balanced skin. MPC peptides act by stimulating and increasing the synthesis of collagen I, hyaluronic acid and fibronectin, thus leading to a reorganization of the extracellular matrix. The result is the restoration of skin functions to keep it young and healthy. The amino acids contained in whey protein help to preserve the skin's elasticity and firmness.

Biomimetic peptides, i.e. those with the same structure as natural peptides but with a smaller sequence that facilitates their penetration through the skin's protective barriers to reach the deeper layers of the dermis and from there, transmit information to the cells, without the risk of sensitization. They perform their function by mimicking the body's natural intercellular communication mechanisms that dictate to the cells the action to be taken. The BCN-Tensis-Peptides formulation contains the following:
Oligopeptide-24 or CG-EDP3, a mixture of palmitic acid which is a great modulator of the expression of growth factors, such as EGF or epidermal growth factor, as it interacts with its receptor and increases its expression, as well as the proliferation, migration and survival of skin cells and the expression of the components of the extracellular matrix (collagen, elastin, hyaluronic). It also helps to generate new young cells. Its application provides a lifting and firming effect, as well as a greater uniformity of skin tone and reduction of scars. It has a great general anti-aging action. It also increases aquaporin3 (AQP3), a protein that is mainly expressed in the plasma membrane of keratinocytes or the most abundant cells of the epidermis and mediates water transport. Its function is to allow the passage of water and other small solutes, such as glycerol and urea, through the plasma membrane, playing a key role in maintaining hydration in the epidermis, accelerating the healing of skin wounds and its elasticity.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-28 mimics the natural mechanism of regeneration of the extracellular matrix. On the one hand, it stimulates protein synthesis and the production of inhibitors of collagen-destroying metalloproteinases of the ECM. On the other hand, it stimulates the expression of the ECM fiber gene by binding to the specific receptor TFG-ß II on the cell surface causing a cascade phosphorylation. It increases the synthesis of collagen I and III.
In addition, it induces the synthesis of integrins, which are a superfamily of glycoproteins present on the cell surface in high concentrations and which are mainly involved in the union of cells with the extracellular matrix and in cell-cell junction. Together with hyaluronic acid, it provides a marked botox and sagging prevention effect
.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 is a peptide mimetic of the matrikines, which are cytokines whose origin is the extracellular matrix as they are derived from the proteolysis of proteins of the same. On the one hand, they provide structural material by stimulating the synthesis of the 6 main molecules of the ECM: collagen I, III and IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid and laminin. On the other hand, it stimulates the dermal matrix and the junction of the dermis and epidermis. The result is a rejuvenating lifting effect of the skin in addition to redensification and reduction of skin roughness by improving the junction between the dermis and epidermis.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, a peptide that has an amino acid sequence similar to the activating sequence of TSP-1, a protein called thrombospondin-1 that activates the latent but biologically active form of TGF- which in turn is a key element in collagen synthesis. Therefore, it triggers the process as if it were a natural molecule of the organism, generating more collagen. Moreover, the fact that it is a peptide with a sequence of few amino acids gives it great penetrating power: it crosses the epidermis and reaches the dermis where it stimulates the production of collagen and the proliferation of healthy tissue. It also has the ability to prevent the entry of toxins into the skin cells through a mechanism by which it eliminates or deactivates them. Thus, it provides firming and moisturizing properties to the skin.
In addition to peptides, BCN Tensis-Peptide, has the synergistic action of other advanced active ingredients such as:
DMAE (dimethylethanolamine), a substance capable of increasing the concentration of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction and therefore muscle tone and whose levels decrease with age. This active ingredient acts on muscle fibers, making them firmer and more toned. It has an anti-sagging action and an immediate lifting effect. DMAE is also a powerful antioxidant that eliminates free radicals that are produced in the skin cells and are harmful at the molecular level, so it is one of the components that actively fights against the signs of premature aging of the skin.
Organic Silicon is a complex molecule called methylsilanol mannuronate, which separates into two parts when it comes into contact with the skin, leaving the silicon free to exert its action. It restructures the dermis, as it is part of the structure of the connective tissue, so that it is introduced in the
small depressions that occur in the skin (wrinkles, scars, stretch marks) filling them.
Collagen is a fibrous protein found in the fibers of the skin, tendons, bones, cartilage and other connective tissues. It improves skin elasticity, reduces wrinkles and fine lines.
Hyaluronic acid is a type of polysaccharide found in the dermis, i.e. in the deep layers of the skin. It is distributed throughout the connective and epithelial tissues. Its main function is the regulation and repair of cell growth which reverts to a plumping and moisturizing action of the skin.
