Red light does not tan: it works on a different level. Understanding the mechanism helps you stay consistent, and consistency is what delivers results.

Red light penetrates the dermis
Unlike UV radiation, which acts on the melanin in the epidermis, red light reaches deeper layers of the skin without producing a tan or burns.

It stimulates fibroblasts
Fibroblasts are the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. Repeated light stimulus supports their activity — and that is the core of the treatment.

The effect is cumulative
A one-off session changes nothing: the result is built with a continuous cycle of 10-12 weeks at 2-3 sessions a week, followed by fortnightly maintenance.
