Sunlighten mPulse DISCOVER: full-spectrum infrared sauna for 4 people with red light therapy and smart programmes

The Sunlighten mPulse DISCOVER is the highest-capacity cabin in the mPulse series, designed for family or professional wellness use with space for 4 people. It combines the three wavelengths of the infrared spectrum — near infrared (NIR), mid infrared (MIR) and far infrared (FIR) — together with red light therapy, in a smart sauna that adapts emission in real time to the wellness goal of each session.

The technological core of the mPulse DISCOVER is its patented SoloCarbon® 3 in 1® heaters, with 99% efficiency at each wavelength. The cabin incorporates 30 heaters in total: 12 far infrared, 11 mid infrared and 7 near infrared, distributed across the front, side and rear walls and floor (the floor heater is not available on models with a eucalyptus finish). Most of the FIR emission is concentrated in the 9.4-micron range, the wavelength most efficiently absorbed by the human body. The red light and NIR LED panels, developed from NASA research, are integrated into the walls to provide phototherapy focused on collagen production, cellular health, inflammation reduction and muscle recovery.

The sauna is controlled via an integrated tablet with a 10.1" touchscreen and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to select from 6 pre-set wellness programmes based on more than 50 clinical data points taken from over 37 third-party studies: detoxification, weight loss, cardio (raises heart rate and cardiac output, then reduces intensity to maintain the level, simulating low-intensity exercise), muscle recovery, relaxation and anti-ageing (skin rejuvenation). If the pre-set programmes do not meet the user’s needs, it is possible to create customised sessions by individually controlling the intensity of each emitter (front, side, rear, feet) from the tablet or the exclusive Sunlighten app.

The app allows the sauna to be preheated, sessions to be scheduled, parameters to be adjusted and software updates to be received remotely. Wi-Fi connectivity also enables content streaming during sessions. With optional biofeedback accessories, heart rate, blood flow and calories burned can be measured, with the data sent wirelessly to a personalised account on Mysunlighten.com for detailed tracking of sessions and results.

Sunlighten manufacturing includes an exclusive process to mitigate electromagnetic fields (EMF) and volatile organic compounds (VOC) to levels verified by third parties as ultra-low. The wood is 100% eco-friendly, sustainably grown, non-toxic, with a solid wood structure and tongue-and-groove panels. The current standard finish is eucalyptus. The heater covers incorporate CELLIANT® technology, a textile that converts body heat into infrared energy to maximise the therapeutic effect.

Assembly is carried out using the Magne-Seal™ system: the panels connect magnetically without visible screws or nails, providing an airtight seal that retains heat and a clean appearance. The ergonomic benches are removable and can optionally be equipped with the SO Sound system (Blaupunkt audio integrated into the seat). The adjustable recessed chromotherapy uses colours from the visible spectrum to support emotional balance and circadian rhythm.

It is recommended to leave at least 11 cm of clearance between the sauna and the surrounding walls, and 16 cm of free space up to the ceiling, to ensure adequate air circulation. The sauna requires a dedicated electrical circuit and socket.
