Sunlighten mPulse ASPIRE: 1-person full-spectrum infrared sauna with red light therapy and smart programmes

The Sunlighten mPulse ASPIRE is a single-person infrared sauna cabin that combines the three infrared spectrum wavelengths — near infrared (NIR), mid infrared (MIR) and far infrared (FIR) — together with red light therapy, in one smart wellness device. Manufactured by Sunlighten, a global leader in infrared technology with more than 200 wellness experts supporting its products, the mPulse is the first and only sauna that allows the wavelength mix to be customised in real time to adapt each session to a specific health goal.

The technological core of the mPulse ASPIRE is its patented SoloCarbon® 3 in 1® heaters, designed to emit each wavelength independently with 99% efficiency. The cabin incorporates 12 heaters in total: 5 far infrared, 4 mid infrared and 3 near infrared, distributed across the front, side and rear walls and the foot area. In addition, the red light and NIR LED panels, developed from NASA research, are integrated into the interior walls to provide additional phototherapy focused on cellular health, collagen production, inflammation reduction and muscle recovery.

The sauna is controlled via an integrated Android tablet with Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to choose from 6 pre-set wellness programmes, each based on more than 50 clinical data points taken from over 37 third-party studies on the interaction between infrared and the human body: detoxification, weight loss, cardio, muscle recovery, relaxation and anti-ageing (skin rejuvenation). If the pre-set programmes do not meet the user’s needs, it is possible to create customised sessions by controlling the intensity and duration of each emitter (front, side, rear, feet) from the tablet or the exclusive Sunlighten app.

The Sunlighten app allows users to preheat the sauna, schedule sessions, adjust settings and receive software updates remotely. Wi-Fi connectivity also enables content streaming during sessions. The ergonomic benches are removable and can optionally be equipped with the SO Sound system, which integrates high-fidelity audio with a Blaupunkt system directly into the seat.

Sunlighten manufacturing incorporates an exclusive process to mitigate electromagnetic fields (EMF) to virtually undetectable levels, lower than those of most common household appliances. All materials are tested as non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The wood comes from sustainable plantations and is available in eucalyptus (current standard finish). The heater covers incorporate CELLIANT® technology, a textile that converts body heat into infrared energy, maximising the therapeutic effect of FIR.

Assembly is carried out using the Magne-Seal™ system: the panels fit together magnetically with no visible screws or nails, providing an airtight seal that retains heat and a clean, elegant appearance. Adjustable chromotherapy is available as an option to complement the sensory experience.

It is recommended to leave at least 11 cm of clearance between the sauna and the surrounding walls, and 16 cm of free space up to the ceiling, to ensure adequate air circulation and optimal temperature performance. The sauna requires a dedicated circuit and power socket.
