The Innergize HP8580 is more than a sunbed. INFRATAN TECHNOLOGY
Two technologies in one session: heat that relaxes, light that tans
Hapro's InfraTan system splits power between infrared and UVA. You can run heat only, tanning only, or both together: the digital panel decides how much power goes where.
The two 1100 W emitters do not heat the air, they heat the body. Infrared radiation penetrates the tissue, promotes vasodilation and helps release tension built up in the back, neck and legs. It is the part people appreciate most after training or a long day on their feet, and in winter it works as a substitute for a sauna session without the stifling heat.
The two 300 W HPA lamps work over a 190 × 70 cm area. The parabolic reflector redirects the light so it reaches the whole body evenly, with no hot spots and no areas left behind. The result is a golden tone that builds gradually and naturally, in short, controlled sessions.
The display shows the remaining time, lets you pause and remembers the last settings used, so there is nothing to reprogram each time. The built-in distance meter warns you if the head is too close, and the automatic shut-off ends the session on its own. The head houses a compartment for aroma cartridges: they swap in one movement and gently scent the room during the session.

HOW IT WORKS
What the infrared does and what the UVA light does
They are two different effects that complement each other. Understanding them helps you get the most out of every session.

Infrared heats the tissue, not the air
Unlike a radiator, infrared radiation passes through the surface of the skin and transfers heat directly into the tissue. That produces local vasodilation, increases blood flow to the area and helps muscles relax. It is the same principle used by infrared cabins and physiotherapy lamps.

UVA light activates the melanin you already have
High-pressure HPA lamps concentrate their emission in the UVA range, which acts on the melanin already present in the skin: it oxidises and darkens within hours. In parallel, the skin starts producing new melanin, and that is what gives the lasting tone from the fourth or fifth session onwards.

Heat and colour reinforce each other, each at its own pace
Infrared can be used as often as you like, even daily, because it involves no UV radiation. Tanning, on the other hand, requires rest: 24 to 48 hours to complete the pigmentation cycle. That is why many owners run infrared-only sessions on the days in between.
Important: the rays emitted by UV tanning equipment can affect the skin and the eyes. These effects depend on the nature and intensity of the rays as well as on each person's skin sensitivity. People with skin type I must not use artificial tanning equipment. Always wear protective goggles and follow the exposure table for the unit.
HOW TO USE IT
A session in four steps
From folded case to finished session there is no more than two minutes of setup.

Unfold and position the unit
Open the base, raise the column and adjust the height and angle of the head over the bed or sofa. The built-in distance meter confirms the separation is correct.

Choose programme and time
On the digital panel you select infrared, UVA or the combined InfraTan mode and set the time. If you are tanning, always start at the minimum for your skin type and build up gradually.

During the session
Lie down, put on the approved protective goggles if you are using UVA, and relax. You can pause at any point; the audible alert and automatic shut-off handle the end.

Afterwards, and away it goes
Moisturise if you have used UVA and leave 48 hours before the next tanning session. Fold the unit in three steps and store it under the bed or in the wardrobe.

What is your skin type and how do you work out yours?
Skin type is a classification describing how your skin reacts to sun exposure. It is based on skin, hair and eye colour, and on how prone you are to burning or tanning. Knowing it helps you choose the safest and most effective tanning practices.

We recommend using specialist cosmetics that help hydrate the skin during tanning sessions. These products are designed to counteract moisture loss and improve the appearance of the skin, helping the tan last longer.
Avoid perfumes, colognes, creams with citrus, essential oils and products with retinol or exfoliating acids for at least 10 days before the session. Also avoid products with lemon, orange or bergamot, and certain photosensitising medications such as antibiotics (tetracyclines), NSAIDs (ibuprofen) or diuretics. Check with your doctor if you have any doubt about a medication you are taking.
If you are allergic to natural sunlight, you should not expose yourself to UVA rays, as the radiation is similar and may cause an adverse skin reaction.
White patches in areas such as the shoulder blades or buttocks can occur due to pressure on these areas while lying down, which reduces blood flow and the distribution of the tan. Alternating between horizontal and vertical tanning beds can help minimise this effect.

Excellent product and fast delivery
The product arrived on the third business day via GLS, pretty fast considering the size of the item. The product is excellent, very easy to handle for people like me who have never used a sunbed. It is much bigger than I expected, which for me was perfect because I can tan almost my whole body in half an hour. It already comes assembled, you just need to set it up and plug it in, ready to use. I was very satisfied, the price is high but the quality matches it!
