The Innergize HP8580 is more than a sunbed. It combines two 300 W high-pressure UVA lamps with two 1100 W infrared emitters, so a single session gives you both colour and the deep heat that loosens your back and helps muscles recover. It folds down in three steps to the size of a large case, weighs 19.2 kg and rolls on built-in castors: it stores under the bed or in a wardrobe. Digital panel, distance meter, automatic shut-off and interchangeable aroma cartridges.

Hapro's InfraTan system splits power between infrared and UVA. You can run heat only, tanning only, or both together: the digital panel decides how much power goes where.
The two 1100 W emitters do not heat the air, they heat the body. Infrared radiation penetrates the tissue, promotes vasodilation and helps release tension built up in the back, neck and legs. It is the part people appreciate most after training or a long day on their feet, and in winter it works as a substitute for a sauna session without the stifling heat.
The two 300 W HPA lamps work over a 190 × 70 cm area. The parabolic reflector redirects the light so it reaches the whole body evenly, with no hot spots and no areas left behind. The result is a golden tone that builds gradually and naturally, in short, controlled sessions.
The display shows the remaining time, lets you pause and remembers the last settings used, so there is nothing to reprogram each time. The built-in distance meter warns you if the head is too close, and the automatic shut-off ends the session on its own. The head houses a compartment for aroma cartridges: they swap in one movement and gently scent the room during the session.
The Innergize is designed for an ordinary home: it sets up in seconds, is used over the bed or sofa, and stores away folded.

They are two different effects that complement each other. Understanding them helps you get the most out of every session.
From folded case to finished session there is no more than two minutes of setup.
Guideline values for the Innergize UVA sessions. Infrared-only sessions are not subject to this limit.
| Skin type | First session | Regular session | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Type I — very fair skin that never tans | Not recommended | Not recommended | Must not use artificial tanning |
| Type II — fair skin, burns easily | 5–8 min | 12–15 min | 1–2 times a week |
| Type III — medium skin, tans gradually | 8–12 min | 18–20 min | 2 times a week |
| Type IV — olive skin, rarely burns | 12–15 min | 20–25 min | 2–3 times a week |
| Type V–VI — dark skin | 15–20 min | 25–30 min | 2–3 times a week |
Always leave a minimum of 48 hours between tanning sessions and do not combine the sunbed with natural sun on the same day. Infrared-only sessions can be run daily.
Skin type is a classification describing how your skin reacts to sun exposure. It is based on skin, hair and eye colour, and on how prone you are to burning or tanning. Knowing it helps you choose the safest and most effective tanning practices.
| Skin type | Characteristics | Reaction to the sun |
|---|---|---|
| Type I | Very fair skin, usually with freckles, red or light blond hair, light eyes | Burns easily and rarely tans |
| Type II | Fair skin, blond hair, light eyes | Usually burns, but can tan slightly |
| Type III | Intermediate skin, brown hair, darker eyes | Sometimes burns and tans gradually |
| Type IV | Olive skin, dark hair, dark eyes | Rarely burns, tans well |
| Type V | Dark skin, dark hair and eyes | Rarely burns, tans easily |
| Type VI | Very dark or black skin, dark hair and eyes | Never burns, tans very easily |
To work out your skin type, consider your most common reaction to prolonged sun exposure without protection. Check with a dermatologist if you are unsure or have a history of sun-related skin problems. Warning: people with skin type I must not use artificial tanning equipment.

A home wellness unit is a purchase that lasts years. What matters is not only the price: it is having someone to call when the lamps need changing.
And if you cannot find your answer, message us on WhatsApp: a real person will reply.
Yes, and it is one of the reasons people choose this unit. On the digital panel you select infrared mode and work only with the 2,200 W of heat, with no UV radiation. That mode can be used daily, without the 48-hour rest that tanning requires.
Folded it measures 1175 × 295 × 395 mm, roughly a large suitcase on its edge. It fits under a bed, in a loft space or behind a door, and the built-in castors let you move it without lifting.
No. It runs on 230 V / 50 Hz from a normal domestic socket. The socket should be in good condition and not shared with other high-consumption appliances.
They sit in the head and release a gentle fragrance during the session. They do not affect the tanning or the infrared: they are a comfort extra that turns the session into something closer to a small spa. They swap in one movement and several fragrances are available.
With the two high-pressure HPA lamps, most skin types start seeing colour from the second or third session, and the tone settles from the fourth or fifth. Two or three sessions a week work better than several in a row.
Yes. Tanning accelerators are designed to improve results in tanning units: they hydrate the skin and support melanin production, so colour appears sooner and lasts longer. Always use cosmetics made specifically for tanning units, never self-tanners or creams with sun protection.
It is not advisable to use sunscreen over your whole body during tanning sessions, since its job is to block UV rays and it would cancel out the tanning effect. However, you can apply sunscreen to specific areas that need extra protection, such as scars, marks or sensitive areas.
Yes. Although you should not cover your whole skin, it is worth protecting specific spots such as scars, recent tattoos, marks or particularly sensitive areas with a high-factor sunscreen.
We recommend using the tanner 2 to 3 times a week, leaving rest time between sessions so the skin is not overexposed to UV rays.
We recommend waiting at least 48 hours between sessions. It is also important to avoid using the tanning unit and being exposed to natural sunlight on the same day, to prevent UV overexposure.
Yes, protective goggles must always be worn during tanning sessions to prevent eye damage from UV radiation exposure.
Yes, it is important to remove contact lenses before a UVA session to avoid irritation or possible eye damage.
One advantage of indoor UVA tanning units is that they do not depend on weather conditions or external factors such as the ozone layer or fluctuations in solar radiation, which allows a controlled and consistent tanning experience. Even so, times, rest periods and eye protection must always be respected.
We recommend using specialist cosmetics that help hydrate the skin during tanning sessions. These products are designed to counteract moisture loss and improve the appearance of the skin, helping the tan last longer.
Avoid perfumes, colognes, creams with citrus, essential oils and products with retinol or exfoliating acids for at least 10 days before the session. Also avoid products with lemon, orange or bergamot, and certain photosensitising medications such as antibiotics (tetracyclines), NSAIDs (ibuprofen) or diuretics. Check with your doctor if you have any doubt about a medication you are taking.
If you are allergic to natural sunlight, you should not expose yourself to UVA rays, as the radiation is similar and may cause an adverse skin reaction.
White patches in areas such as the shoulder blades or buttocks can occur due to pressure on these areas while lying down, which reduces blood flow and the distribution of the tan. Alternating between horizontal and vertical tanning beds can help minimise this effect.
There are several types of home tanning units, including horizontal and vertical models. Horizontal units suit those who prefer to tan lying down, while vertical ones are ideal for those who prefer to stand or for smaller spaces. The choice depends on the space available at home and your personal tanning preferences.
Tell us what you are after — recovery, tanning or both — and how much space you have, and we will tell you whether the Innergize is the right unit or whether another model suits you better.

The product arrived on the third business day via GLS, pretty fast considering the size of the item. The product is excellent, very easy to handle for people like me who have never used a sunbed. It is much bigger than I expected, which for me was perfect because I can tan almost my whole body in half an hour. It already comes assembled, you just need to set it up and plug it in, ready to use. I was very satisfied, the price is high but the quality matches it!
