OPAL Stool: the essentials, done well

Not every workstation needs a stool with a backrest or an ergonomic saddle seat. For the clinical treatment area, reception desk, equipment area or simply as a spare, you need a stable, height-adjustable stool that does not get in the way. That is the OPAL.

Flat, round 34 cm seat, adjustable height from 56 to 77 cm with a gas lift and a 48 cm five-star base with castors. It weighs 6 kg —the lightest in the range— and supports up to 175 kg, the same maximum load as the SUN stool with backrest. Lightweight does not mean flimsy.

Where it fits

• Second clinic stool. For the patient, accompanying person or trainee.
• Professional equipment area. Electrotherapy, pressotherapy or laser sessions where supervision is required.
• Clinical treatment room and podiatry. High working position and slim profile for unobstructed access to the foot.
• Beauty treatment room. For manicure, hair removal and facial treatments.
• Small spaces. 48 cm base: fits under the treatment table when not in use.

Which of the three stools is right for you

The DDUUEETT range includes three stools, each designed to meet a different need:

• OPAL — flat, compact and affordable. For occasional or secondary use and for working at a higher position without anything getting in the way.
• OBSI — saddle seat. Promotes an active sitting posture and maintains natural lumbar lordosis without a backrest. For professionals who frequently alternate between sitting and standing.
• SUN — adjustable ergonomic backrest and 60 cm base. For long sessions while seated in the same position.

If you are going to spend more than four hours a day sitting in the same place, the OPAL is not the right stool: choose the SUN. If you alternate between standing and sitting, choose the OBSI. The OPAL excels when you need a practical, straightforward stool.

Maintenance

Clean with a damp cloth, neutral detergent and a healthcare-grade surface disinfectant when required. Avoid high-concentration alcohol and abrasive products, as these can dry out the faux leather. Check the castors periodically to ensure they remain securely tightened.
