The WAD KARE Ultrasonic is a professional hair iron designed for cold hair reconstruction protocols and use with keratin products. It can be used with masks, conditioning creams and hydrating or restorative treatments applied to the hair.

Its design combines an ultrasound plate and an infrared plate. The device features a display for adjusting the time and intensity of its functions, with dedicated controls to increase or decrease each setting.

Professional use in haircare protocols

This tool is not designed to straighten hair. Its purpose is to accompany the application of haircare products during the technical service. For the described protocol, hair is washed and rinsed beforehand, dried to approximately 80% at low temperature and power, then divided into sections.

After applying and leaving on the mask, conditioning cream or hair treatment, pass the iron slowly over each section 3 to 5 times. Once the exposure time has elapsed, rinse the hair with lukewarm water and proceed with drying.

Controls and operation

When the iron is connected, the illuminated display enters standby mode. Press and hold the power button for approximately one second to switch the device on or off. While the device is operating, the same button allows you to select the time setting or the ultrasound and infrared modes.

The + and − buttons adjust the time and intensity. The ultrasound function operates for the programmed time and is reactivated when the plates are opened and closed again.

Steam test

To check the ultrasound function, position the silver ultrasound plate at the bottom, apply a few drops of water and close the plates slightly. The appearance of steam during this test indicates that the ultrasound function is operating. Steam may not be produced when using a mask.

Cleaning and storage

Switch off and unplug the device before cleaning. Clean the plates and outer surface with a soft, dry cloth, and store the hair iron with its cord in a dry place. Any maintenance other than this cleaning must be carried out by an authorised service centre.
