In its natural form in the body, L-carnitine is responsible for metabolizing fat. It breaks down accumulated fat and mobilizes fatty acids into the bloodstream, coupling with them and transporting them to the part of the cell where fat is converted into energy. The Lipolytic Solution L-Carnitine is essential for optimally burning fat.

L-carnitine is naturally present in the body and is an essential cofactor in the metabolism of fatty acids. It plays a crucial role in transporting long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondrial matrix for oxidation, thus holding fundamental importance in energy production.

L-carnitine and acylcarnitines are also involved in the re-acylation and rearrangement of phospholipids in the cell membrane, acting as secondary antioxidants to protect it. According to several studies, L-carnitine improves the levels of alpha-tocopherol in the body—a potent fat-soluble antioxidant—reinforces the protective cell membrane, and enhances the function of plasma lipoproteins.
