The Weelko WKB003 monopolar radiofrequency is a professional aesthetic device with a touch screen, designed for non-invasive facial and body aesthetic treatments aimed at improving skin firmness, skin texture and the overall appearance of the tissue.

It works with monopolar radiofrequency technology and a return plate, allowing controlled application on the face and body using three specific probes: body, facial and eye contour.

How monopolar radiofrequency works

This device works at 0.5 MHz and uses an active electrode together with a return plate to close the circuit during application. The energy is transmitted from the handpiece to the plate, concentrating the work on the treated area.

Monopolar technology allows rapid heating and deep work on aesthetic tissue, making it suitable for facial and body firming protocols carried out by professionals.

General usage protocol

• Connect the power cable to the rear panel.
• Correctly connect the probes and the return plate to the rear panel.
• Switch on the device using the front button and press the Weelko logo on the screen to access the menu.
• Select mono.face for the facial and eye probe, or mono.body for the body probe.
• Apply specific radiofrequency gel or glycerine in sufficient quantity to the skin before placing the probe.
• Adjust the intensity from the LEVEL menu.
• Select the working time from TIME.
• Choose the wave type from MODE.
• Press PLAY/PAUSE to start or pause the session.

Indicative body aesthetic protocol

• Carry out a prior assessment of the body area to be treated.
• Apply enough transparent conductive gel or vegetable glycerine.
• Keep the handpiece in contact with the skin at all times.
• Perform constant movements, preferably upwards on the legs and following the natural direction of body aesthetic work.
• Do not leave the head fixed on the same point to avoid excess heat.
• Recommended time per area: up to 20 minutes. Do not extend treatments beyond 60 minutes in total.
• Depending on the size of the area, times may be professionally adjusted.
• The indicative number of sessions for body protocols is between 5 and 10 sessions, always reassessing the client’s aesthetic progress.

Safety and maintenance

The device incorporates intensity control and time settings for professional and safe application. Its compact structure and removable accessories make daily maintenance in the treatment room easier.

• Clean the probes with a damp cloth after each treatment.
• Do not use the device in damp or poorly ventilated environments.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel.
• Do not open or inspect the internal components of the device.
• The appearance of the product and some components may vary without prior notice from the manufacturer.

Contraindications and usage exclusions

• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Do not use on people with pacemakers or other implanted electrical devices.
• Do not use on people with serious heart disease.
• Do not use on people with coagulation disorders.
• Do not use on people with connective tissue diseases.
• Do not use on people with neurological or neuromuscular diseases.
• Do not use on people with cancer, HIV or diabetes without prior assessment by a competent professional.
• Do not use on skin with infections, wounds, active irritation, psoriasis, dermatitis or unassessed skin conditions.
• Do not work on areas with altered sensitivity to heat.
• Do not apply over areas with metal objects, metal prostheses in the treatment area or permanent make-up/facial tattoos without prior assessment.
• Do not apply on skin recently subjected to aggressive procedures, deep chemical peeling, burns or recent surgery.
• Do not use on people with Cushing’s syndrome.
• Do not work over the thyroid.
• Take care in areas with injected fillers; after recent infiltrations of hyaluronic acid, botox or other products, a prudent waiting period should be observed before treatment.
• Do not use on recently shaved or waxed skin if sensitivity or visible irritation is present.
• In the case of a history of keloids, fever, infectious processes or use of anticoagulants, immunosuppressants or corticosteroids, assess the suitability of the protocol before the session.

Additional technical information

• For the treatment, it is recommended to use a specific glycerine gel, avoiding the use of very watery conductive gel when it may excessively increase thermal transmission.
• The recommended duration indicated by the manufacturer is 10 minutes for facial treatments and 20 minutes for body treatments. In any case, a total time of 60 minutes must not be exceeded.
• Do not leave the electrode fixed on the same area. Application must be performed with continuous movement to avoid excess heat on the skin.
• Before each session, the professional and client must remove metal objects from the treatment area.
• When the recycling symbol appears on the device or its packaging, the product must not be disposed of as conventional household waste. It must be managed in accordance with local regulations applicable to electrical appliances.
